FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
KSN AND HSSPORTSTV.NET TEAM UP TO PROVIDE
ULTIMATE COVERAGE OF KANSAS HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS
(WICHITA, KS) KSN TV and HSSPORTSTV.NET have joined forces to bring high school
sports fans the most comprehensive
coverage of Kansas high school sports found anywhere in the Midwest. Users will
have free, 24-hour easy access to the most indepth
coverage of 37 Kansas boys and girls high school sports, including football,
basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling
and soccer. It’s like “You Tube” for high school sports.
“This partnership with HSSPORTS.TV extends KSN’s Friday Football Fever beyond
Friday!” said KSN Sports Director
Jim Kobbe. “It's good for our viewers. Besides scores that are on KSN.COM, fans
now have access to on-demand video and
information.” He added, “The coverage is there whenever you feel like watching,
and has so much more content than our time
constraints allow us on television.”
While full, on-demand video allows family members around the country to see
complete re-broadcasts of their student
athlete’s event, the coverage is certain to satisfy even hard core fans. “Fans
can also view highlight videos, schedules, rosters, team
and individual statistics, school records, personal player cards, and much
more”, said HSSPORTSTV.NET cofounder, RJ Nusz.
HSSPORTSTV.NET and KSN.COM are destined to stand out as the internet destination
for high school sports fans. The
reason, according to co-founder Rick Cox, is clear. “Nobody was doing what
we
envisioned delivering to schools and student
athletes and fans. We set out to build it.” He added, “If you are looking for
practically every game, with just about every statistic
for every team and every athlete for every school, we can provide this
coverage.”
Currently, fans can find detailed information on teams and players from 62
schools, of all sizes and locations throughout
Kansas. Nusz added that this is just the beginning, and said that the site is
being redesigned in time for the kick-off of 2007 high
school football season. “There will be enhanced features on the site that have
been requested by college coaches and a few additional
new features that will make a fan’s viewing experience better. Plus the site
will give student athletes the opportunity to be seen and
possibly discovered,” said Nusz.
Kobbe said that fans will be impressed with HSSPORTSTV.NET. “RJ and Rick are
local guys who started this because
they love high school sports and wanted to do a website right.” Kobbe said he’s
confident that the partnership will get even better for
fans. “This is just the start; this thing will continue to grow”.
